 Key Achievements

  • Worked with brand new government indigenous program, developed and implemented 4 year IT Operations and Strategic Plan; still on track. Managed the implementation of core infrastructure. The result was an over achievement in growth of indigenous retail stores across the Northern Territory.
  • Restructured a large scale Siebel Support and Development team for Westpac, managed redeployment, organisational change and structure, recruitment process and KPI’s. Divided the teams and established new resources within 7 weeks. The result was better streamlined and skilled teams with an off-shoring strategy for development.
  • Implemented a single Change Management process across Westpac IT divisions along with the provision of a Change Advisory Board. Resulting in a reduced number of incidents due to change and streamlined process.
  • Designed and implemented the IT Service Management Framework for News Limited. This included the implementation of ITIL Incident and Problem Management across 18 national divisions. Consolidated in excess of 17 systems and processes and incorporated a people alignment strategy.
  • Implemented IT Service Management Strategy and managed the consolidation and redeployment of IT Support Teams at UNSW. This resulted in a Single Point of Contact for Staff and student IT incidents and requests.
  • Transition Manager for complex transition project for South Corp Wines, included the all activities involved in the dis-engagement from IBM and transition of IT services to HP.
  • Transition Manager for large scale outsourcing program for ABN Amro Bank. Developed the plan in conjunction with EDS to consolidate and off-shore IT Service Desk, Infrastructure and Desktop Delivery Teams.
  • Transition Manager for IBM outsourcing program and the redeployment of people, processes and technology. Achieved transition ahead of schedule whilst also managing the impacted service teams. Still in operation after 8 years.
