Key Achievements

  • Managed a program to develop plans for the shut down and start up of each of Hewlett Packard’s data centres in Australia and New Zealand. The purpose of this was to demonstrate to HP’s customers that we have this capability. Managed a team of 72 people in 7 work-streams over a six month period.
  • Led a team of 46 people in 6 work-streams over a 19 month period to deliver the Workplace Services Transformation program at EDS. This program changed how the organisation provided end user services to its customers and involved relocating the service delivery to best location in the region. This resulted in improved services and significantly multi-million dollar recurrent cost savings for the organisation.
  • Program managed the successful migration of work to lower cost locations around the region for EDS’ Best Shore Program. This led to multi-million dollar recurrent savings for EDS that were able to be shared with their customers.
  • Program Manager for CBA’s two and a half-year, $100m Internet Banking System in a multi-vendor environment. Responsible for legacy systems development, testing work-stream and program office. Team size was in excess of 100 people. All work was completed on time, to a high standard and under budget.
  • Program managed the changes to the Commonwealth Bank’s 10 superannuation systems to cater for the Family Law and DASP legislation. This 6 month, $4 million program was completed on time (legislation changes meant slippages of milestones were not allowed) and within budget.
  • Program managed the implementation of a new cheque processing application and technology for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. This was a multi-million dollar project involving multiple vendors.
  • General Manager at Lend Lease responsible for managing a team of 50 people providing HR, payroll, superannuation and employee share schemes for Lend Lease’s global workforce.
