 Key Achievements

• At Vodafone Hutchison Australia I was Test Work Stream Manager for the SingleView Hardware Upgrade project. The system is used for real time charging, provisioning, billing & managing month end. Basically without this system, Vodafone Hutchison Australia wouldn't be able to collect any revenue from their customers. The Billing system now works nearly 60% faster. The team also delivered the upgrade under budget & ahead of schedule.
• Test Work Stream Manager for CBA's NetBank Two Factor Authentication Project (2FA) whose objective was to address the issue of the erosion of customer confidence in online services and reduce the amount of current NetBank fraud loss write-off caused by the execution of these threats. This involved managing seven test streams (IBM & EDS) to ensure the quality of the enhancements to the system. The 2FA release was successfully implemented defect free.
• At Sensis (Telstra) I worked as a Test Consultant employed to develop & manage the implementation of a test structure/team into a project where none existed (i.e. Test Processes, Strategies, Plans, etc.). This has enabled the project to achieve their goal of successfully implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application for the Accounts Receivable team.
• At CBA I was appointed by the General Manager for Testing (Enterprise Testing & Assurance (ET&A)) to access the way forward for CBA in the areas of Testing Automation & Stress Volume & Performance Testing. This entailed devising Test Strategies/Plans in both areas as well as carrying out a selection & proof of concept of the tools. CBA has successfully rolled out both tools selected across the Enterprise.
• UAT Test Manager for the NetBank Replacement Project (CBA) Duties included: Manage a team consisting of 21 people testing the Replacement NetBank application; Sign off on code builds from Test to Production on behalf of the CBA Stake Holders; Test Estimation, Monitoring & Control; Incident Management; Introduce standards processes & procedures into Test; Introduce reviews (Walkthroughs \ Informal \ Technical \ Formal) of the Test Process; Liaising with 3rd Party Vendors (CMG, AC Nielsen, Card Link Services, VISA, etc.).; Provide daily status reports to upper management; Set-up & management of the ongoing Regression Test Team. The NetBank system has an excellent operational and performance record with a system availability of over 99%.
• At DMR Consulting, a leading international provider of consulting & information technology services to businesses & public enterprises, I was employed as a Java Consultant to work on-site for their client National Rail. I was the sole technical person supporting National Rails Pricing & Billing System (PBS). Successful in enhancing, bug fixing & testing the PBS application used to price freight transport.
