Key Achievements
- Establishment and maintenance of the Program Management Office for Westpac’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Program, through the feasibility stages of the Program and in the establishment of the Business Impact Analysis of the new legislation.
- Program Planner for Westpac’s Our Great Place (now known as Westpac Place) Program within the PMO, covering Australia’s largest corporate relocation project involving over 7,000 employees. This included the consolidation and decommissioning of seven of the nine office locations in the Sydney CBD down to two primary sites including the construction of the new corporate headquarters. The key elements were in building a key milestone and slippage tracking framework over the critical phase of the program. In addition, lead the project to roll out the physical security systems at the 60 Martin Place office.
- Establishment of a portfolio management and demand management framework for Optus’ Yes Delivery program team leveraging the increased use of the existing portfolio and project management tools.
- Senior Consultant for Atkins Global, Transport IT Systems Division, working on the European Commission funded intelligent transport systems integration project between Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Dublin (Republic of Ireland). Key deliverables were:
- Development of the multiple year master plan and schedule (1, 3, and 10 year plans) for the systems deployment and technology integration.
- Formulation of the functional systems architecture for the program and identification of opportunities for growth.
- Program Scheduler working for SOCOG on the Sydney Olympic Games building and maintaining the master schedules for Sydney Olympic Park, the Main Press Centre and Several Competition Venues. This also included building the day by day elements for the master delivery schedule for Logistics, Venue Management, and Security.
- Senior Solution Consultant for CA for the Clarity Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) governance solution. Work involved engagement of several large Australian enterprises and government departments, including Woolworths Limited, Alcatel Lucent, Austar, amongst others. Woolworths was an extensive 21 month engagement culminating in the POC deployment and first phase rollout to their ‘Galaxy’ merchandising system transformation program. Australian lead for the development team to productise the implementation of the PRINCE2 project management methodology into Clarity PPM.
