I was the Siebel program manager involved in the delivery of CBA’s new internet banking platform ‘NetBank’. This was a large multi vendor project (EDS, IBM, SUN & CBA) to provide CBA with a multi channel banking solution starting with the internet banking channel. The NetBank platform is a strategic investment for CBA giving them the potential to leverage the NetBank functionality across other customer touch points like IVR, WAP Banking and Teller.
- As a project manager for Fuziq, I was responsible for the Tandem replacement project at Bank of America in Hong Kong. This was a multi channel replacement project. I was responsible for liaising with the project partners (NCR, SUN & TASK) for BOA, ensuring all parties met their milestones and deliverables. The project was positioned as an Enterprise Engine and Service Broker Platform development providing operational cost savings and quick time-to-market for new products, the new infrastructure prepared BOA for the next generation of new technologies.
- I was the Fuziq project manger for the implementation of their Enterprise Engine software at Maybank in Singapore. The software was used to integrate their IVR system with the back end host systems. Providing Maybank’s customers with real time financial information via telephone.
- I was a project manager for Kindle Banking Systems on a major project for Standard Chartered Bank. The multi country deployment of the ‘Emerging Markets Model’ (EMM) which was a global banking software model for SCB. The EMM model was implemented in various countries in Asia and Africa. I responsible for the design of the EMM training system, which system was used to train SCB staff in all the EMM countries. I was subsequently a project manager in the installation and implementation of the EMM system in Brunei and also in the post implementation support for the EMM system in Zimbabwe.
