Key Achievements
- NAB - Project Manager within the Innovation team designed to align nab "Vision" and Strategic goals with Innovative Technology. Business activities and responsibilities included identifying the business need and functional requirements for technological replacement and advance to currency for future business benefits. One such project included the transition to Windows Vista as a tactical step towards the Windows 7 OS. Each project was managed within budget and timescales as defined by the business plan.
- Westpac - Responsible for the set up of Project Management Practises across the Corporate Core Transformation Portfolio Programme from Initiation of a new Westpac Business Unit, mobilisation of a Portfolio of Work and alignment of project delivery strategy to ensure corporate realisation of benefits. I operated as an advisor seconded to failing projects to advise on turnaround strategy across Finance, Risk, Technology and People & Performance Business areas. Responsibilities included critical path planning for all projects, identification of risks and issues, devising resolution and mitigation strategies, and undertaking audit requirements in alignment with the central Westpac Program Office
- SFE/ OMX Nasdaq Joint Venture - Responsible for the development, refinement and implementation of all program office process and procedure, I was a member of a Project Manager’s committee managing the Programme of Work. This involved liaising with and communicating directly to Executive Management and Board Member’s. I was responsible for the day to day management of progress driven by the plan, including management of vendor progress (OMX), assessment of weekly progress, Critical Path analysis, impact analysis of Change Requests, prioritisation of critical path effort, development of planning/ scheduling strategy’s for Software development and release. I worked as part of an executive project management capability developing and implementing Go-live Strategy, Industry Wide Testing Strategy, Resource Strategy, Implementation and Cut-over Strategy, Helpdesk Strategy. I was also directly responsible for development and implementation of complex detailed baseline plans managing 10 Stream’s of Work including Vendor, Testing, Data Migration, Requirements, Training, Operation’s, Procedures, Regulatory Compliance, Participant and Deployment Management (including delivery of software to market across the whole of the Australian Banking and Finance Industry).
- Pay & Go - Operating as a founding partner in the development and implementation of an accounts receivable end-to-end solution fully integrated with Client CRM and Accounting systems. A member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for the development and delivery of software functional requirements, compliance, quality, go-to-market strategy, defining tactical solutions and identifying strategic partners.
