 Key Achievements

  • Managed a program of work encompassing activities focused on the stability and growth of an existing online food business, while also accountable for the launch of IT systems to support a new non-foods online business – launched successfully in July 2009.
  • Implemented a new delivery model – including governance, financial controls and organisational restructure – to enable successful program delivery. Overall responsibility for allocation, utilisation, and direction of program resources both human and technical.
  • Program Management responsibilities for an initiative which stands as the only successful enterprise-scale re-platform of an Oracle RAC environment from Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition
  • Successfully managed the development and deployment of a warehouse management system re-platform allowing fulfilment teams to achieve a four-fold increase to in-store systems, and unleashing unused capacity.
  • Delivered a cross-country Internet and Intranet presence with transparent costs that was standard in its structure and supported in a consistent way. Responsibilities included organisational design, build, implementation and management, encompassing an international team of online project managers each responsible for the successful implementation of direct channels in a chosen market.
  • Project managed the creation of a Global support organisation (onshore & offshore) to provide technical and content support to a global network of marketing professionals.
  • Project managed a successful global initiative to design, develop and deploy online business processes and toolsets to ensure the successful growth and sustainability of Online as a communication and collaboration
