Key Achievements

  • Project manager delivering Infrastructure upgrades, move of application system from one system to another, upgrades to CPU and memory. The implementation was critical, with high risks, a very tight timeline and on the critical path of the program. Also at the same time managed a number of other small projects which included hardware upgrades and expansion.
  • PMO Analyst on the $18M WTIP Program (Workplace Transformation and Improvement Program) which was a transition and transformation program as part of the End User computing systems for a bank. This program covered 5 work streams and over 100 milestone deliverables.
  • In above role, also managed SLA Methodology workshops – liaising with the various technical teams within EDS and with the client to gain a common understanding of how the 64 SLAs were derived, and to achieve signoff.
  • Enterprise Program Office for a $20M credit card Bureau implementation, managing the program office for the Testing and Bureau Readiness Workstreams.
  • In the above role, created and managed the Change Control process; managed Risks and Issues; created the Implementation schedule which was used for the dress rehearsals and cut over weekend, including supporting the actual dress rehearsals and Implementation.
  • Implementation Manager for CBA Group Data warehouse Production Support, successfully coordinating the Development and Production Support teams, and managing over 15 budgets aggregating to $1.5M.
  • In the above role, also managed the budget, including client negotiations for funds, updating and reporting; assisted the Project Manager with day to day project management tasks, including acting as Project Manager when required; chaired Release Management meetings; co-chaired Change Control Board meetings; and maintained the Handover to Production support Pack.
  • Technical Leader for Imagemark, responsible for developing the Change Control Plan for installation of Imagemark (cheque processing) systems for EDS/CBA in their main processing centres across Australia.
  • Planned, coordinated and implemented installations and upgrades to many large systems including, Imagemark systems for EDS/CBA and numerous Teradata and NCR VRX mainframe systems for Financial, Airline, and Telecommunications customers in Asia Pacific.
  • Became the technical support leader for Imagemark systems in Australia within 6 months of working with the product.
