 Key Achievements

  • Cards Services Delivery Executive responsible for Service Delivery of all service and applications delivery work for EDS’s newly formed Regional Cards Utility (RCU), focusing on cost, schedule and quality of delivery.  Oversee the RCU operations (which run 24x7), service delivery programmes and project managers to ensure that they meet their programme/project requirements and ensures the integration of requirements from various service and application delivery project teams into a comprehensive solution for the client. Provide people care and direction for all direct reports with a focus on growing industry and capability knowledge and expertise of staff.

  • Regional Applications Service Manager responsible for building a Cards Processing capability within the Australia Pacific Region for EDS. This project, which ran for 18 months, was a joint US and Australian development. Over a 100 local resources were involved in developing the software and standing up the infrastructure components. 
  • Application Delivery Manager responsible for managing all Retail Banking Systems that EDS maintained on behalf of Commonwealth Bank. These systems included all core product and delivery systems. This portfolio comprised in excess of 160 systems and 250 staff located both on-shore and off-shore. At any one time there were in excess of 20 major projects underway.
  • EDS Program Manager for the Commonwealth Bank’s Internet Banking System. This was a two year project involving IBM, Siebel, Sun, TCNZA, CBA and EDS. EDS was responsible for all Testing phases, Legacy Development, Infrastructure and Implementation. Over 150 EDS resources were involved in this project.
  • General Manager, Deliver & Relationship, responsible for various applications, including Data Warehouse, Workflow & Imaging and Documentation.
  • Programme Manager for Colonial’s Alfinanz software application. This software package comprised Banking, Financial Planning, Client Management and Quotation/Projection components. It was used by Colonial State Bank Branch staff, Third Party brokers and Financial Planners. The project ran for two years and comprised 50 staff.
  • Program/Project Manager responsible for developing numerous Branch Banking applications for Colonial & State Bank over a 6 year period. Highlights included development of the first windows based applications in 1994 and a broad based Sales Platform, providing Account Opening, Customer Maintenance and Loan Origination released in 1996.
