Key Achievements:

  • Project Portfolio Analyst at Primary Health Care, one of Australia's leading healthcare companies. Sonali was hired after a major organisational transformation, which resulted in the creation of an in-house EPMO. Sonali created a portfolio level roadmap and designed and implemented the delivery processes. She was responsible for forecasting the budgets and owned the key business units project delivery. Also, she analysed their current portfolio database and initiated discussions to capture true projects from each business unit and presenting to the business unit executive team. She also created the board level monthly reporting pack to appraise the portfolio status
  • As a PMO/ Project Manager APAC at Commvault, Sonali conducted a root-cause analysis on the current state of the portfolio and projects delivery methods and their existing processes and tools used. Based on the analysis result, she undertook key initiatives and successfully established and managed the APAC PMO, standardised templates and developed a framework with best practices, to address the issue of non-governance and lack of a project delivery framework. She developed a project dashboard to improve and centralise a reporting system. Created multiple monthly and wuarterly reports for the board and executive team. Sonali was part of the core leadership team for forecasting quarterly revenue for Professional Services - ranging from $5m to $8m.
  • As a PMO Analyst at Woolworths, Sonali worked on a major system upgrade. She was responsible for the financial management of projects and maintained a repository of all project related documents in SharePoint. She facilitated project working group meetings, reviewing svhedules with the project team and tracking action items/ milestones. Managed schedules including facilitation of issues and risk workshops and log management (RAID register). Sonali achieved the key KPI every time, of keeping the actual spend within 5% of the forecast and successfully delivered continual process and project methodology improvement.
  • As a PMO Analyst at Pillar Administration, Sonali maintained the enterprise-wide PMO; tracking projects and action items, driving accountability from all team embers and escalating missed actions/ milestones as deemed necessary. She successfully developed proceses and reveiwed guidelines for change management.
  • As a Bid Manager at Nokia, on a significant APAC opportunity for Nokia Networks, managing more than 40 resources across the globe. On-time bid submission resulting in a major win for Nokia. Sonali was responsible for managing bids end to end. Analysed RFI/ RFQ and Eol to define the bid scope, identify resources and prepare the work breakdown structure. Conducted requirement gathering prior to initiation of the bid to plan and schedule deliverables as per customers' expectations. She reviewed closed bids, provided recommendations to new projects and updated all documentation accordingly with lessons learned.
