Key Achievements:

As Senior PMO Analyst / Master Scheduler at Macquarie Bank, Ali was successful in setting up a new Jira (Xray) Reporting Structure for Program Fusion (One of the most strategic programs in the organization) which saved the testing team a huge amount of time and effort with their day-to-day reporting. Ali was also able to successfully support the program in developing, baselining, and maintaining the Remediation Stream Schedule as one of the most critical and complex work streams of the program. He also generated various program performance reports and dashboards including Schedule, Quality, Costs & Benefits, Scope, Business Readiness, Remediation, and Team Dynamic metrics in a weekly basis for senior executives (For the first time in the program). Ali was responsible for generating weekly Velocity Reports & 2 Weeks Look Ahead Extracts for each work stream (20 streams in the program). He was also in charge of updating the program deliverables matrix to ensure all the key deliverables have been captured in line with the contractual agreements as well as the program integrated schedule. Finally, he was responsible for supporting the PMO with maintaining the RAID Log as well as updating Risks & Issues in Jira.

As PMO Consultant at AMP Bank (Bench Support), Ali was able to support the Data Transformation Program to get back on track with their financials (Costs & Benefits) according to the latest approved changes which was a critical milestone for the program. He was able to successfully adjust/update the resource estimates, costs and benefits in the program financial model (LEAF) and updated the Business Case accordingly. Ali was also in charge of generating various financial reports based on the updated financial model and was successful in meeting highly aggressive timelines.

As Master Scheduler at BNP Paribas Bank, Ali worked in the SCULL Separation & Simplification Program (One of the biggest Fund Transfer Programs in Australia’s Financial Services industry) as well as the pControl Upgrade Program (One of the most strategic obsolescence management programs in BNPP organization across Australia and New Zealand) simultaneously. Both SCULL program and pControl Upgrade program were highly critical and strategic for BNP Paribas business and Ali played a pivotal role in supporting both. Ali was the program master scheduler and was responsible for schedule management across all Australia and New Zealand streams. Ali played a key role in improving scheduling structure, working with business teams for schedule creation and recommendations for improving health of global schedules, as well as bringing new planning/reporting structures to the organization (PoaP & Schedule Dashboards). As Master Scheduler at BNPP, Ali developed and maintained the master schedules for the above-mentioned strategic programs, and consistently maintained high health score rate of the schedules according to the best practice. Ali also worked closely with the portfolio manager in order to regularly analyze the portfolio inter-dependencies to identify and escalate any potential collisions in portfolio level.

As IT Master Scheduler at Essential Energy, Ali developed and maintained the master schedule for the Power On upgrade program which was one of the most critical and complex IT programs in the company’s history. Ali provided planning, scheduling and forecasting to all projects ensuring consistent allocation of cost within the projects. This covered all scheduling updates in collaboration with the project managers, as well as participating in planning meetings as required. He produced cost and schedule performance reports at the end of the reporting cycle for all levels of management throughout the organization including variance analysis. Always focused on continuous improvement, Ali assisted the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO) in more effective scheduling processes which culminated in saving the company a considerable amount of time and cost. Ali also managed the risk and issues for the program.

As Master Scheduler at SANA Energy, Ali established and maintained against the Master and Sub schedules for all projects, ensuring the integration of the Sub schedules into an overall Master schedule using MS Project. This was a highly complex project involving Electrical Overhead Transmission Construction program, He was responsible for all critical dependency management and assisted the project managers in progress and performance reporting as well as risks and issues management.

As Master Scheduler for JAM Medical Center, Ali created and maintained the schedule for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Software Upgrade project. Ali uplifted the project team’s scheduling capability through developing a comprehensive project status report template including S-Curves, forecasts, PeopleSoft financial reports, and residual project funding status to support the Project Board monthly meetings.

As Master Scheduler, At IP Engineering, Ali worked on a significant ICT Transformation program, which involved relocating three physical data centers into secure cloud services, Ali created and maintained the integrated schedules for all projects within the program. He successfully managed and engaged multiple stakeholders relating to three different data centers and liaised closely with them during the program lifecycle which led to the successful delivery of the program.

As Master Scheduler for Novin Media Motors, Ali created and maintained the schedule for the Launching CNG Cylinder Production Line project. He facilitated critical path analysis and reporting, tracked the project schedule progress including preparing various internal and external client reports. Ali also was responsible for successfully assurance and management of project documents, risks & issues, and status reporting, including slippage reporting.

As a Master Scheduler at Zamzam Industrial, Ali worked on Launching Mineral Water Packaging Line Project, Ali developed and implemented scheduling processes and tools to support the project delivery and facilitate the Project Manager in project status reporting, resource planning, risk management, schedule tracking, dependency management, project financial reconciliations, and critical path management. He was also responsible for implementing the project risk assessment procedure to identify and manage potential cost and schedule challenges.

As Project Scheduler for MAPNA Group, Ali prepared the WBS for new projects and assisted in defining the scope of work required within the South Pars Gas Field Development project. He managed the development and maintenance of the project schedule in MS Project and provided information on milestones, critical path and dependencies. Ali became the point of contact serving updated information to government sector’s agencies, clients and stakeholders.
