At BNP Paribas, Esther reported to the Programme Senior Director as PMO Consultant/Finance Analyst for the Scull Programme. Esther streamlined, designed/built and managed the financials tracking and reporting of the programme. Esther is responsible for ensuring traceability of finance updates, monthly status reporting and provided expert analysis of project financial status to stakeholders. This involved reviewing the quality and consolidating multiple sources of forecasts and financial information into a master register to establish a single source of truth and provide a holistic view of the programme through monthly summary analysis and dashboard reports. Esther is also responsible for commercial processes including invoicing (payables and receivables), accruals (revenue and cost) and assisting in drafting of SoWs (vendors and client). Esther is also responsible for programme resource planning (including tracking of contract expiry/extensions, onboarding/offboarding) and monthly time sheeting. Esther provided support in CR and deliverable management through coordinating and driving the weekly meetings and tracking status and action items.
As PMO Reporting Lead for the transition of the EPMO team from UK to Australia at QBE, Esther facilitated the knowledge transfer from the reporting resource in UK to the permanent resource in Australia. Esther Assessed the EPMO as is reporting outputs and designed and built streamlined and value-add future executive reports and portfolio dashboards and then designed and built streamlined value-add future executive reports and portfolio dashboards. Esther also designed and built key reporting tools, such as the master register for tracking and providing the backend reporting source for Tier 1 projects and the prioritisation tool used for consolidating key project/program data and then ranking the initiatives using weighted prioritisation parameters.
As PMO finance analyst for the $200 million enterprise replacement (including hr, payroll) program at Endeavour Energy, Esther reported to the Business Head of Finance and was responsible for organising the finance pack for the monthly meeting with the CFO. Esther tracked and reported the monthly financial performance of the project against the approved budget. Esther was responsible for managing an audit trail of changes to the budget and approved use of contingency. Esther tracked the project scope and schedule and provided analysis of the underlying financial performance. Esther reviewed vendor costs against milestones and coordinated approval of milestone payments for vendors including reviewing satisfaction of the acceptance criteria for payments with leads. Esther was responsible for reviewing and monitoring POs and invoices and reviewed and reported monthly accruals.
As associate manager/PMO Lead at Accenture, Esther managed and maintained the financial aspects of the project; including client-approved funding, invoicing, forecasting, expenses and procurement. She provided decision support to the leadership team in terms of analysing, forecasting and monitoring the financial performance of the project and identified any gaps to correct or improve processes. Esther generated the forecasting and acquittal reports and drove the preparation, design, deployment, maintenance and closure of work plans. Esther managed the team responsible for reviewing the integrity and quality of the work plans, making sure it met project standards. Esther also managed the process for fulfilling the resource requirements, by acquiring and releasing resources based on the engagement’s commitments, changing needs and financial business case. Esther prepared and maintained a set of resource plans and records that reflected both the current and future staffing requirements, managing resource availability, adjusting team structures and personnel assignments, to fulfil the ongoing staffing needs of the teams and ensure the compliance to contractual obligations of on boarding and off boarding resources.
As senior PMO consultant at Accenture Philippines, Esther was responsible for managing the billing and invoicing team of a multi-million-dollar project. Ester managed the time and expense billing process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of reports, analysed processes for efficiency and improvement, reviewed quality and integrity of data and directly coordinated with account leads and senior executives for the day to day scope of work.
As sales and project manager at Opionology, Esther generated cost estimates and feasibility studies and participated in bids for clients conducting online surveys. Ester conducted testing for the surveys before go-live, ensuring that the metrics of the study matched the agreed pricing. Esther managed the progress of the study and provided updates to the client. She was responsible for billing and settling of outstanding credits and establishing client relations for continuous work to generate more projects and gain new customers.
