About Grace Tran
Grace is a skilled Senior PMO Consultant, who joined Seven Consulting’s Sydney practice in 2010. She has over nine years’ experience in the PMO space for large programs including managing timelines, finances, and, managing Risks/Issues and Change Control. Grace is also highly skilled in developing and managing master schedules for large scale programs.
Grace has expertise in using, customising, and improving IT applications/software for project management activities, such as estimation, financial tracking, and schedule management. Furthermore, she is a highly motivated project consultant, with effective communication skills, and ability to lead and motivate in an effective manner.

As PMO Lead at Equifax, Grace was responsible for estimation consolidation, scope change management and financial management, in addition to leading the team. She reviewed schedules created by the capacity leads as well as created reports from JIRA to gauge work movement between sprints, for each workstream.
As PMO lead at Woolworths, Grace provided broad based PMO services for their largest program, 1 Store, which was responsible for the upgrading of major store systems for all Woolworths group stores.
As Master Scheduler and PMO Consultant at Macquarie Bank, Grace was engaged on the Core Banking Transformation program. She created and maintained a highly complex program master release schedule and designed and created enhancements to requirements management and reporting. Grace was also responsible for upskilling others on the team.
As a PMO Consultant at CBA, Grace was engaged on a variety of large programs including AEGIS, Multi-Currency on Core, Institutional Lending Transformation and Core Application Delivery, managing between 10 and 20 schedules per program, as well as other PMO activities such as scope change, financials, and risks and issues.
As an Acting PMO Manager at CBA’s AEGIS program, Grace was able to introduce robust reporting and governance on the large initiative. This included creation of new reports for business requirements analysis and management; Assisted in the management of the Business and Architect teams, including creating and facilitating the requirements management process; Facilitated process change with PM’s for master schedules and reporting; instrumental in the estimate process, consolidations and analysis.
CBA requested Grace to manage the estimation activity for ILT due to her success on the Multi-Currency Core Program. Grace improved the estimation process and provided numerous views to the program; enhanced the financial tracking reporting such that it was requested to be expanded to include other major Bank programs.
As PMO Master Scheduler at CBA, Grace consolidated the individual project schedules and established a comprehensive Risk and Issue management process for CBM L2d Program. She also executed risk and issue review meetings and provided risk reports.
As Master Scheduler, established and maintained the PMO program schedules and various work stream schedules for CBA and EDS Services. As part of her role, Grace developed and produced Dashboard reports for executive consumption, managed end to end the Steering Committee reporting process, and had accountability for Resource Management including utilization and forecasting. Grace also set up governance structures for multiple large programs, including reporting functions for executives and various levels of management.
For HP, as a PMO Consultant on the Infrastructure Transformation Program, and integration of ASB Bank Limited systems with the Bank. Grace was accountable for creation of Program Management Plans, Master Schedule, and PSG reports. Also set up the program cost model, tracked actual costs in SAP, set up and maintained the team SharePoint site and provided training and mentoring to junior PMs.
As a PMO Consultant at HP, Grace developed, and managed implementation plans for MasterCard, Visa and Amex compliance releases twice yearly, at HP’s Regional Cards Utility.
