Key Achievements:

As Program Director at National Australia Bank, Mark managed the Control Transformation Program – Reset back to problem definition, designed and implemented agile proof of concept, then lead an organisational wide transformation to change the way that NAB Wealth managed compliance with their regulatory obligations. Mark implemented a Controls Management System (CMS) to maintain traceability of all relevant regulatory obligations, proactively manage the effectiveness of processes and controls, and provide the ability to demonstrate compliance to regulators for all NAB Wealth licensed entities. As Program Manager at REST Industry Super, Mark managed the Stronger Super / Super Stream – Transitioned from another program manager who had resigned, rebuilt troubled relationship between program, business and vendor to successfully ensure that REST was equipped to meet with obligations under Stronger Super as well as supporting their key clients migrate their contributions processes over to the new e-Contributions compliant platform.(1.5 years, $26m budget, 12+ resources, 70,000+ employers and 1,500,000+ members migrated)


As Program Manager at Asciano, Mark program managed the Cloud Transformation Program Recovery – Led the Architecture and Outsourced Service Model Design streams for a large scale program recovery at Asciano to outsource all desktop, infrastructure and business critical applications to a Fujitsu managed Cloud services. Defined the Cloud Service Architecture and implemented the ITIL based Service Management Framework.


As Program Manager at Perpetual, Mark managed the IT Outsource & Data Centre migration – Engaged during contract negotiation to shape the transition program to establish a true partnership delivery model, led a single joint Perpetual/Fujitsu transformation program team to successfully outsource Perpetual’s IT function and modernise their IT infrastructure and service management in a hybrid cloud architecture. This included the migration of all applications, data and physical IT assets and eventual decommission of two legacy data centers. (1.5 years, $12m, 30+ resources, 1200+ business stakeholders impacted)


As Program Manager at National Australia Bank/Telstra, Mark managed the Telecommunications Transition & Transformation – Engaged pre-contract to shape Transition program and lead Telstra through a major change to the operating model of their largest outsourced services account by value. This transition involved setting up the ITSM processes, IVR’s, call scripts, resource scheduling and monitoring including SLA reports and call handling metrics. (1 year, $32m budget, 80+ resources, Service delivery and management framework established for $1.5b contract)

As Program Manager at Commonwealth Bank/Telstra, Mark managed the Telecommunications Service Management Transition – Engaged post contract and planning and focused on realigning customer expectations so that effective control of CBA’s telecommunications services could be established within contractual constraints, modifying the solution to something which was achievable. The transformation involved setting up IT service desks and leading the ITSM stream. (1 year, $10m budget, 50+ resources, IT Service Management Framework established for $1.3b contract)
