Following the close of applications, all submissions underwent a structured and rigorous assessment process to ensure fairness, integrity, and alignment with the program’s objectives.

This included:

  • Eligibility and criteria review across all applications
  • Structured scoring and shortlisting based on performance, potential, and financial need
  • Interviews with shortlisted candidates
  • Reference checks, followed by final review and approval.

The process highlighted not only athletic excellence, but also leadership, community impact, and the ability to inspire others.

Introducing the 2026–2027 Grant Recipients of $ 25,000 each

We are proud to announce the recipients of the Seven Consulting Grants Program for Female Athletes:

Scarlet Jauncey

Scarlet Jauncey is a rising force in Australian netball, recognised for her leadership, determination, and impact both on and off the court. A proud Yawuru woman, she has already made history as the first Indigenous athlete named to an Australian World Youth Cup team in 20 years, where she served as Vice Captain and helped secure gold.

Currently part of the West Coast Fever’s high-performance environment, Scarlet continues to develop as an elite defensive player while balancing work, community commitments, and her sporting career. Her journey reflects resilience and purpose, alongside a deep commitment to increasing visibility and representation for First Nations athletes.

Vanessa Low

A three‑time Paralympic gold medallist and reigning world record holder in the T61 long jump, she has consistently delivered at the highest level across multiple international competitions.
