About Elise Kellond-Knight

Elise joined Seven Consulting’s Melbourne team in 2018. She is a recently retired professional athlete, who represented the Matildas (Australian national women’s football team) at three FIFA World Cups and two Olympic Games, earning over 100 appearancesA long career in professional sport has given her a unique skillset of discipline, resilience and a hard work ethic.   Elise has held governance positions within football and was a driver behind the Matildas reaching pay equality in 2019She is the current Deputy Chair of Professional Footballers Australia, where she aims to enact positive change and continue to give back to the sportThese leadership roles in sport administration have provided her with governance experience, where she has dealt with difficult scenarios such as player legal disputes, Matildas/Socceroos/A League bargaining negotiations and stakeholder management across an overly political industry.

Key Achievements:

As PMO Consultant at Cuscal, Elise helped complete the design phase of an EPMO for Cuscal’s strategic initiatives.  She built and maintained the schedule for this piece of work, in addition to assisting the team in its design of in scope areas for the EPMO.  She was involved in key stakeholder interviews and workshops to finalise the design process.  


As PMO Consultant at WorkSafe Victoria, Elise provided direct support to the PMO Manager who was engaged to set up and manage the Strategy PMO at WorkSafe Victoria on a $140M / 450 FTE program to support traditional and Agile teams. Their PMO team was responsible for PMO processes and services within Strategy, and for the quality of all PMO deliverables across the Strategy Program.  Elise supported the Strategy PMO Manager in relation to planning, reporting and governance services through the delivery of PMO processes and templates, and she assisted with administrative tasks associated with regular health check reviews for Internal Audit purposes. Elise helped to peer review content produced by the PMO Manager to support the delivery of the Strategy Program.  This was managed in accordance with agreed parameters around schedule, quality, and scope, in alignment with client requirements and in adherence to enterprise policies and procedures. 


As PMO Consultant at Optus, Elise provided administrative support to project streams, including setup of surveys, general user acceptance testing, and essentially working with the PMO and PM to help set the methodology for capturing KPIs related to staff satisfaction and customer satisfaction. 


As PMO Consultant at Australia Post, Elise provided PMO services to the team, working to uplift the EPMO and implement a new project management tool.  She was involved in setting up surveys to baseline improvements and establishing requirements for the new tool, to ensure best practice standards were utilised.
