About Thuc Linh Nguyen Phan
Thuc Linh joined Seven Consulting’s Sydney team in January 2022 through the company’s Graduate Program. Thuc Linh has completed her studies in Bachelor of Project Management at University of Sydney with a major in-Built Environment. She is eager to gain more experience by fully immersing her knowledge into project management activities to enable development of her skills and knowledge in the field of project management.

Key Achievements:
As PMO Analyst/Scheduler on the Next Generation Fleet Program at the Rural Fire Service, Thuc-Linh was responsible for managing the program schedule, program reporting and providing comprehensive PMO support. Her role included collating and updating reports for program working groups and steering committees including financial updates and schedule tracking and developing timelines from MS Project, documenting forum minutes and actions, and maintaining RAID logs.
As a PMO Analyst at Macquarie Bank on the GT E2E Transformation Program at Macquarie Bank, Thuc-Linh was a part of the PMO team and was responsible for collating and reviewing status reports, onboarding of new resources to the program, maintaining org charts, updates in PMO365 PM tool (including resourcing, RAID and status updates), Confluence & SharePoint management, assumption management, assisted in risk and issue management, assisted in Steering committee packs and overall PMO support where needed.
As part of the Project Management Capstone Project at the University of Sydney, Thuc Linh was part of a project team that created a business case report for the NSW Department of Education, including a detailed action plan addressing the barriers in rural and remote students’ participation in the High Performing Students Program (Selective Education) in NSW. The project team consisted of 5 members with multiple background expertise that contributed to identifying key barriers and the design strategies for implementation in rural and remote schools.
As a Graduate at Seven Consulting, Thuc Linh completed the Graduate program which is designed to enhance the core Project Management skills amongst the people who are experienced in their individual professional fields. During the Graduate program, she has gained theoretical and practical knowledge on different aspects of project management by going through different sessions and exercises with domain experts. This program has developed her skills and confidence level in using PM tools (like MS Project, JIRA etc.), techniques and soft skills. Thuc Linh also had the opportunity to work shadow senior consultants in actual project environments where she has been exposed to risk, issues, and constraints on a project and better ways to manage them.
