Key Achievements:
As PMO Consultant at ASX, Maria provided PMO support within the ClearStar Program, ensuring adherence to the organisation’s delivery framework by conducting gap analysis and quality assurance reviews on program artefacts during key phase gates. She also maintained the resource register, onboarded resources, managed access requests, and provided PMO administrative support, including coordinating governance and stakeholder meetings. Across the Markets portfolio, she supported PMO uplift initiatives by enhancing Atlassian capabilities and creating Jira dashboards to track sprint progress, data hygiene, and RAID, while regularly engaging delivery teams, leadership, and the EPMO to drive continuous improvement. A key achievement was leading the migration of project and BAU teams across the Markets portfolio from legacy on-premises Atlassian environments to Atlassian Cloud, which involved tracking and coordinating the migration of over 140 Jira and Confluence spaces. This required close collaboration with Workplace Technology teams and the creation and maintenance of a detailed migration schedule to minimise disruption to in-flight projects and BAU operations.
As Graduate at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Maria was responsible for updating the project schedule, and monitoring schedule health using Seven Consulting’s Health Check tool. Additionally, she set up Project Scorecards to track project KPIs related to scope, schedule, and budget. She also reviewed status reports, and refined reporting templates to ensure consistency and accuracy in project tracking and governance.
As Graduate at Seven Consulting, Maria supported the end-to-end delivery of Project 7, Seven Consulting’s annual community initiative in partnership with Catholic Care Sydney. Leading up to the project, she drove communications and proactively managed engagement with the charity partner. She maintained all key project documents, including the budget tracker, RAID register, status reports, and weekly sponsor meeting packs. Maria supported scheduling, budgeting, and tradespeople coordination to ensure stakeholder alignment and timely delivery of accessibility-focused site upgrades. The project was completed on schedule and under budget, further developing her skills in stakeholder engagement, team collaboration, and effective project delivery.
As Graduate at Seven Consulting, Maria successfully completed the Graduate Program, designed to strengthen core project management skills for professionals across various fields. Through a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on exercises led by domain experts, she developed expertise in project management methodologies, tools (MS Project, JIRA), and soft skills essential for effective project execution. Additionally, she gained practical exposure by shadowing senior consultants in live project environments, where she observed risk management, issue resolution, and constraint handling, further enhancing her ability to navigate complex projects.
As Business Analyst at the University of New South Wales Finance Department, Maria supported the roll-out of the university’s first PCI DSS project, ensuring secure and compliant payment processing throughout the entire university campus. She also developed and presented use cases for integrating generative AI into finance operations, focusing on financial modelling, analysis, and document ideation.
