Key Achievements:

As Partner/Delivery Executive at Department of Defence, Lindsay led the largest SAP S/4 HANA Defence & Security platform implementation on Azure in the southern hemisphere—a A$1Bn program transforming 500+ applications across the Australian Defence Force and support services. He established a PMO, designed a target operating model to enhance efficiency, and navigated COVID-19 challenges to deliver a $155M SAP S/4 HANA phase on schedule with a remote 400+ team. He achieved a Net Promoter Score of 10 through strong governance, implemented a Kanban agile team to avoid $9M in weekly delays, and executed a $15M SAP architectural stream, aligning the 10-year roadmap with long-term Defence objectives.


As Delivery Excellence & Quality Leader at IBM, Lindsay led delivery and quality excellence for IBM’s ANZ project portfolio, overseeing 2,800+ professionals and a $850M portfolio with a focus on delivery quality, revenue growth, and financial efficiency. He executed a Sales Governance program to strengthen presales, improve deal quality, and recover troubled projects. Key achievements include a Quality Assurance Program that cut annual losses by 98%, raising portfolio NPS from -17 to 30, and implementing a gross profit recovery program for a 3.2% improvement. He successfully negotiated complex project disputes, including a $220M settlement, and led IBM’s Asia Pacific PM CoE, increasing PM certifications and training.


As Program Director at Fonterra, Lindsay directed Fonterra’s Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) initiative, integrating credit management and collections into a unified SAP S/4 HANA ERP platform, streamlining global finance and procurement. Key achievements include recovering a critical SAP program with a 50-person international team, improving gross profit by 122%, securing an $11M budget revision to stabilize finances, and achieving a seamless deployment with a successful 3-month hypercare phase and lessons learned session.


As Program Director at Veolia, Lindsay led the recovery of a core Finance and Purchasing ERP consolidation program on SAP S/4HANA with IBM Cloud services. As Program Director at Westpac, Lindsay orchestrated the development and execution of Westpac’s HPaaS delivery, cloud application modernisation, and workload migration program, driving technology simplification and advancing the bank’s cloud adoption strategy. He led a 100+ IBM consulting team to develop a billion-dollar business case and detailed migration plans for a major cloud migration program, coordinating across infrastructure, sales, and executive teams for successful outcomes. He directed the migration discovery phase for 600+ applications and 6,500 OSIs, ensuring governance, controlled change, and risk mitigation. Lindsay successfully delivered an $85M cloud migration program with 85+ resources, leveraging SAFe Agile and Kanban frameworks.


As Program Director at Qantas, Lindsay directed the Revenue Integrity Management Program at Qantas with full accountability for its strategic planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure, ensuring rigorous program integrity and performance. He recovered a $9M project with 21 resources by realigning risks and schedules to meet revised deadlines and boost client satisfaction. He developed a Project Health Check report to identify and mitigate issues, aligned project scope with resources and timelines by rejecting scope changes, and introduced weekly status reports to enhance visibility and enable swift issue resolution.


As Program Director at David Jones, Lindsay managed end-to-end governance, project management, and financial oversight for a $14M custom WebSphere Commerce and Sterling Warehouse and Order Management transformation at David Jones, enhancing online order processing and fulfillment. Key achievements include leading a 45-person, cross-functional team across multiple vendors and geographies; implementing a 24/7 “follow the sun” testing approach with teams in AUS, IND, and USA; improving collaboration and on-time delivery by relocating team members to India; and expediting defect resolution with IBM Global, maintaining the project schedule.


As Program Director at Sydney Water, Lindsay managed Sydney Water’s $25M Siebel CRM implementation, delivering under budget while overseeing scope, financials, and a 120+ onshore/offshore team.
