Key Achievements:

As an Accountant 1 at IQEQ Philippines Inc., Marc provided key insights to clients in Luxembourg by preparing and analysing financial statements for private equity funds in compliance with Luxembourg accounting standards. He coordinated with clients’ external auditors to ensure the timely resolution of queries and support the accurate and fair presentation of financial statements. He also collaborated with the clients’ front-office team to achieve the timely delivery of deliverables in line with client expectations and agreed timelines. Through this role, he honed his critical-thinking skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and interpersonal abilities.

As an Accounting Staff member at Chriscole Construction and Development Corporation, Marc maintained the corporation’s monthly cash disbursement records by collaborating with the Purchasing Department to enable the management to align the actual expenditure with the approved budget. He was also responsible for processing supplier check vouchers and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers. As a freshman student at the time, this was Marc’s first exposure to real-world accounting, which gave him an understanding of how accounting works in practice.
