Key Achievements:

As EPMO Consultant at Indue, Marian was responsible for maintaining the EPPM tool of projects, resources, and timesheets as well as BAU and Presales projects. She regularly performed health checks on in-flight projects to ensure quality in the EPPM project center. Marian supported the implementation of EPMO governance processes and uplift of the existing procedures and reports. She was responsible for assessing & reporting status and providing EPMO services for ongoing projects and programs. Marian used the Project Web Application (PWA) and Tableau reporting tool to provide integrated governance reports to all parties.

As Graduate at Seven Consulting, Marian successfully completed the graduate program of Seven Consulting where she learned the end-to-end cycle of project management from the companies’ senior leaders. The program equipped her with theoretical and practical knowledge on the different areas of PMO and project delivery practice. She also became proficient on the different PM technologies (such as MS Project, JIRA, etc.), techniques and soft skills. Marian also had the opportunity to work-shadow senior consultants in actual project environments where she has been exposed to scheduling and health checks performed to projects. As a culmination of the program, graduates led the planning and execution of Mini Project 7 2023 where they were able to apply their learnings in real-world project settings along with approved approaches in status and steerco reporting.

As Senior Communications Planner at Mediacom with Procter & Gamble as her client, Marian initiated a more effective way of monthly reporting of competitive analysis and campaign deliveries to client. She was one of the senior leads who oversaw task scheduling and monitoring of each team member to ensure that all deliverables were met. She also improved the briefing template by automating the checking and validation of budgets for each brand in MS Excel. As a result, briefing time was shortened and back-and-forth budget mitigation between communication planners and media buyers was avoided. On top of this, she constantly proposed different test and learning opportunities on new executions outside of the BAU activities which resulted to higher effectiveness metrics of the brands’ campaigns and increased shares growth index of a brand’s pillar by 10% vs. past year.

As Project Head for Oplan Kaagapay at JCI Batangas Caballero, Marian spearheaded in raising funds for victims of two typhoons that hit the country. Working with partner organizations and committees, she was able to execute needs analysis, project scheduling and monitoring even with a short time to prepare given the urgency of the situation. With this, the project was able to raise a total amount of Php 100,000 (2,500 AUD) that was used to provide relief goods to 200 families in the affected area and fishing boat materials to help rebuild the livelihood of the community.

As Project Head at Caballero Exclusive Card, Marian supported JCI Batangas Caballero to achieve their goal on supporting local businesses to promote recovery from the pandemic while also raising funds for future projects of the organisation. She coordinated and planned with three committees (Fundraising & Sponsorships, Creatives, Business Committees) to acquire 35 partner local businesses.

Marian created her own initiative project, Bayanihan Batangan which aims to raise funds to provide learning materials to public schools in Batangas, Philippines given the shift to distance learning due to pandemic. She collaborated with 11 partner organizations and was able to raise Php 131,518 (3,400 AUD). On top of project scheduling and monitoring, she created a financial transparency tracker for donors and beneficiaries on how the proceeds were spent. She was able to turn over 185 packs of bond papers, 165 envelopes and 25 learning tablets to the beneficiaries.
