Caroline Lees is a result driven, highly motivated, and resourceful PMO Lead joining the Sydney practice in November 2018. Caroline brings over 20 years’ experience across a broad spectrum of IT, Commercial Management, Management Accountant and Project Management. Caroline is a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels. Caroline has an in-depth understanding of project methodology, implementation, governance, resource capacity planning and impact analysis, as well as experience in people management, financial analysis, reporting and budget management. Key Achievements:
As PMO Lead at CBA, Caroline worked within the Corporate Core IT Team that played a key role in the sales of the Colonial First State and CommInsure General Insurance businesses. Key responsibilities included the onboarding and system resource management for 80+ contractor resources, contract and vendor management, standardizing, coordinating, and implementing the governance and reporting requirements within the delivery team and driving adherence to the Group Delivery Framework. Caroline was also responsible for financial management, schedule creation and maintenance along with all other PMO functions across the demerger programs.
As Senior PMO Consultant at CBA, Caroline worked within the Corporate Core IT Team that played a key role in the Divestment of CBA’s Australian Investment Exchange business and ASB BS11 Compliance program. Key responsibilities included resource onboarding and off boarding, contract and vendor management, coordination of governance and reporting requirements, schedule updates, risk and issue management and financial management.
As PMO Consultant at CBA, Caroline worked within the Corporate Core IT Team that played a key role in the Divestment of CBA’s Australian Life Insurance and Australian Investment Exchange businesses. Working with the PMO Manager, key responsibilities included resource onboarding and off boarding, contract and vendor management, coordination of governance and reporting requirements, schedule updates, risk and issue management and financial management.
As Portfolio Coordinator, at Cuscal Ltd, Caroline facilitated and drove adherence to project management processes, frameworks and methodologies across the portfolio. She was the PMO go to for Project Managers, Scrum Masters and Delivery Managers. Caroline evaluated project management processes and activities and recommend and implement process improvements. Interacting with and providing recommendations to project stakeholders at all levels. Caroline facilitated quality assurance checking and reporting for the project portfolio and developed, maintained and administrated the corporate project management tool (CA PPM Clarity). She provided the secretariat function for Portfolio Oversight Committee and produced training material and manuals & developed a training program for the Project Management tool. Caroline produced reporting and analysis of resource utilization and capacity planning, and analysed and presented monthly Line of Business reporting for Senior Managers. Caroline consulted in the development and adherence of the risk, issue & change control processes and framework and the facilitation and participation of Post Implementation Reviews.
As Program Coordinator, at Cuscal Ltd, on the Core Program, Caroline was responsible for the Project interdependencies tracking and reporting, and the presentation of key performance metrics to the Program Manager and senior stakeholders. Caroline also managed the critical path and tracking and facilitated and drove adherence to project management processes, frameworks and methodologies for the Program. She evaluated project management processes and activities and recommended improvements, provided analysis and reporting of the program portfolio to Senior Leadership and tracked the Risk and Issue reporting.
As the Accountant for Project and Technology Services, at Cuscal Ltd, Caroline managed the monthly accounting processes including ledger entries, management reporting and forecasting. She worked with senior stakeholders to review budgets and assessed areas of overspend and potential opportunities. She prepared executive level reporting for staff costs and corporate projects and provided an analysis of yearly budgets across 5 business divisions and over 20 different cost centres.
As Senior IT Finance and Reporting Analyst, at Cuscal Ltd, Caroline provided resource and productivity efficiency analysis and monthly financial analysis and reporting to cost centre managers on budgets and cost centre performance. Caroline prepared the monthly IT & project management budgets across 8 cost centres as well as the monthly IT billing and chargeback. She also looked after the IT contracts and vendor relationship management and policy development and maintenance.
As the Commercial Manager, at Industrial Power Supply Ltd, Caroline was the lead point of contact for all matters relating to clients’ accounts, including negotiating client contracts and agreements, vendor management and customer relations. She budgeted quotation requirements via negotiations with suppliers for the best possible pricing margins. Leading a team of 3 team members Caroline coordinated training, coaching and goal setting.
